When we visit Porthmonia we park by Carn Galver Mine the two engine houses which are beside the road. This mine was formerly part of the Morvah and Zennor United Mine and one of engine houses still has its chimney, Close to the former count house stands a winding engine house whose whim used to house a 20-inch cylinder.
