This part of the Cornish coastline seems to act like a magnet for climbers. It seems impossible to think that anyone could climb up this vertical pinnacle of rock but here is the photograph to prove it. Commando Ridge is famed for its 200 metre climb and its nickname which was after the World War II commando's who trained there in preparation for wartime cliff assaults
