Menabilly is privately owned and as such is closed to visitors, but there are two special cottages on the estate that are available to rent and give access to the Coastal Path so beloved of Daphne du Maurier. Polridmouth Cottage, stands by the side of a freshwater lake and by the beach in a setting which is almost identical to the cottage on the beach in which Rebecca used to meet her lover.
