Gunwalloe Fishing Cove is totally different from Gunwalloe Church Cove which is to the south and where the church of St. Winwalloe stands right by the beach. The cove has very little shelter but the beach stretches all the way to Porthleven and even though at first glance it looks sandy it is in fact a fine gravel which was once used on Cornish driveways
