Porthgwarra is a very pretty cove with a tunnel which was dug by tin miners from St Just to give farmers with a horse and cart access to the beach to collect seaweed for use as a fertiliser. Either side of the cove are wonderful coastal views and the cliffs are full of interesting rock formations.
