What a good name for a boat and looking it up on the Internet it seems that Great Mates from Bude is a Surf Boat and takes part in surfboating. The reservoir known as the Upper Tamar Lake was completed in 1973 and is about eighty acres in extent. It cost £1.5 million, and was opened in October 1977
