The gate says it all, Derek and Jeannie Tangye were responsible for the Minack Chronicles Nature Reserve. Jeannie is quoted as saying that the area was "for the natural inhabitants, the multitude of wild creatures, insects, butterflies, foxes, badgers, nesting birds. It mustn't be preserved for human beings, except those who seek solitude" This special part of Cornwall can only be reached from the coast path
