Due to its tendency to dry and crack with heat , serpentine fell out of favour and not many large architectural interior pieces survive today. It is however possible to see some work from the Poltesco Serpentine factory as the pulpit at St Peter's church at Coverack is made from serpentine and was donated by the company.
