This disused building at Poltesco once housed the Lizard Serpentine Factory that was responsible for manufacturing architectural pieces. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were presented with serpentine vases when they made a trip to Cornwall in 1846 The Queen later used Poltesco serpentine at Osborne House.
