The glow on the rocks at Lands End seems to make the cliffs come alive and take on strange shapes. Mysteries surround the deep waters off this area and some people believe that the lost kingdom of Lyonese is located here. Others favour the legend that links Lands End to King Arthur and his heir Tristan who inherited the land when the sea levels were much lower and there were still links to the Scilly Isles.
