A Long Way Down to the Sea | Lantic Bay | Cornwall

Lantic Bay is 4 miles from Polperro and the inviting white gold sand can only be reached down a very steep path. The day we visited was one of the only very hot days in the summer and by the time we climbed back up from the beach we were exhausted. As so often happens in Cornwall the intense heat was broken by a short but very heavy thunder shower. For once we were quite relieved to be wet as it cooled us down after the steep ascent.
