Ferryside was once the home of Daphne du Maurier’s it is situated right beside the ferry crossing. Fowey still remembers its famous author and the 2009 Festival took place from Thursday 7th to Saturday 16th May, inclusive. The Du Maurier Festival one of the most popular of its kind in the country and there is something in the festival for everyone with star names, drama, music, talks, concerts, guided walks, local events and free entertainment
