Looking in the direction of Botallack from the coast path near Kenidjack. To the left of the image it is possible to see the remains of the Crowns engine houses. The lower engine was used for pumping and the upper one for winding. A Diagonal Shaft went down a total of 1,360ft (414m) under the sea. These engine houses were part restored in 1985 by the Carn Brea Mining Society.
