The ruins of Wheal Grenville mine are on the Mineral Tramways line and it is a fascinating place for anyone interested in Cornish Mining history. The engine for raising the ore is thought to have been second hand from South Roskear Mine. All mining stopped here with the closure of the mine in 1920
