Looe is in effect two towns that are joined together by a bridge across the river. On one side is East Looe that includes the fishing harbour with the main shopping centre and a sandy beach. Whereas West Looe is much quieter, it does have some shops, restaurants and hotels and this is the way to Hannafore with its fine views of Looe Island.
