Hemmick Beach is not easy to find but it is worth the effort as it is so peaceful. From St Austell go on the B3273 signposted for Mevagissey. Go through Pentewan and turn right onto the Gorran Haven road. This is the difficult bit as shortly before Gorran Churchtown it is necessary to turn right onto a minor road. At the next crossroads go straight across and then take the next right. Keep looking as very soon after this junction there is National Trust car park on the right
