The rugged Cornish coastline is an added bonus for anyone going to watch a performance at the Minack theatre near Porthcurno. Miss Rowenna Cade and her gardener originally made a terrace and rough seating, by hauling materials down from the house and up the steep winding path from the beach below. Throughout her life Miss Cade set about improving the theatre, She worked tirelessly, toiling hard over the winter months each year throughout her life. Billy Rawlings and Charles Angove worked alongside Miss Cade so that others might enjoy the facilities and watch or perform each summer.
