Place: Prussia Cove | Category: Coastline | Photograph Added: 2nd June 2008
The colour of the sea is a constant source of amazement. In this photograph it looks very turquoise. Prussia Cove was formerly called Porthleah then gradually it became known as the King of Prussia's Cove and later this was shortened to just Prussia Cove. The Carter's used all three of the small inlets for their smuggling activities. Pisky's Cove on the west side, Bessie's Cove which apparently was named after the Brewess who kept a beer shop on the cliff above and King's Cove
