An interesting part of any visit to Luxulyan is to walk across Treffry's Viaduct. This was built in the 19th by the Cornish engineer Joseph Treffry, and is considered to be an engineering wonder. The viaduct is an 89 feet high and 650 feet long with ten arches, which are 90 feet high, have a span of 40 feet.
