Place: Chun Quoit And Castle | Category: Ancient Sites | Photograph Added: 22nd April 2008
The name Chun apparently comes from the Cornish Chy-an-Woone which is thought to mean 'the House on the Downs'.
The quoit consists of four upright stones about a metre and a half high and three of these support a fairly circular 2-3 metre wide capstone.
