A view down the attractive streets at Tregony which
like many Cornish villages has its own stories. In 1761 the Tregony giant was unearthed when an old coffin revealed a man of gigantic size. His resting place was apparently eleven feet long and nearly four feet deep and a tooth found inside was two and half inches long. Today nothing remains of this coffin or its occupant so perhaps it is just a story.
