A lovely old building that serves the parish of Tregony even though it is sited just outside the boundary. A Roman
Catholic priest by the name of Cuthbert Mayne was a rebel in the Puritan community who was executed at Launceston. One of his quarters was then hung from Tregony bridge as a deterrent to other rebels.
