The Biomes at Eden are made up of hexagons of various sizes and the frame is galvanised tubular steel glazed with a triple layer of Ethylene TetrafluoroEthylene Co-Polymer, or ETFE, foil. To achieve maximum insulation the three layers of ETFE foil within the hexagons are blown apart by air to form an insulating pillow.
