The photograph taken on our walk around Dozmary Pool shows how isolated the few buildings on the perimeter are. We were lucky on our trip as we had an hours weak sunshine and the pool glistened in its rays. It is a totally different story when the weather changes and the pool takes on an ominous dark look in keeping with the moorland around it.
