A photograph of the rushing water of the River Fowey as it cascades for over eight hundred yards. Golitha Falls are located to the north of Bodmin Moor, 5 km north west of Liskeard and 2 km west of the village of St Cleer. The name Golitha is apparently pronounced as 'Goleetha' and is derived from the old Cornish word for obstruction
