The famous Mousehole Christmas Lights. Many people attend the switching on of the Mousehole Christmas lights. Please note that on Monday 19th the lights will be switched off for one hour from 8 to 9pm in memory of the Solomon Brown.

The Penlee lifeboat Solomon Brown was lost with all hands while bravely attempting to rescue the crew of the cargo ship Union Star in 80 mile per hour plus winds. Mousehole was home to the crew and where the lifeboat was based.
