Looking down the Tuckingmill decline at South Crofty Mine. This decline was intended to become the main access for the mine and was driven a total 600 meters from surface. Only the top 250 meters are now accessible above the waterline. The upper parts of the decline pass through poor ground as such the steal rings were put in for support.
