The beach at Holywell Bay is well worth a visit at this time of the year there is hardly any one around and the views are great. Holywell Bay is about 16 miles from Truro and 6 miles from Newquay. To get to the bay Proceed on the A30 from the east or west then about 2 miles east of the Carland Cross roundabout turn north onto the B3285 this is the road to Goonhavern. Carry on this road until Goonhavern then turn right onto the A3075. About 2 miles later turn left at the sign onto the road for Cubert and Holywell
