About: The quoit at Lanyon takes on a completely different look when it is bathed in the evening light. The chamber collapsed during a storm in 1815 but was re-erected nine years later using the money raised by subscription and the local people.

About: Lanyon Quoit would originally have looked much different. During storms in 1815 the original collapsed and was rebuilt some time later. The fourth upright had broken however and only three were used during the repairs.
