About: The Reading Room was a gift from Mr and Mrs Mills of Torfrey and it was opened on 12th January 1903. This was an important occasion for the Parish with the Bishop of Truro present. This lovely old building now serves as the village hall

About: The level crossing and slipway at the site of the disused Golant Railway Station ,which was opened on 1 July 1896 by the Great Western Railway. It was a very simple platform by the waterside and no luggage was allowed to be sent to this unmanned stat......
