About: Photography needs quite a lot of patience. On the day that this photograph was taken there was very little natural light and we waited for a long time for the right weather conditions. This shot was snapped very quickly as the small gap in the clouds......

Frenchmans Beret or Mushroom

About: Chun quoit is one of the best preserved burial chambers in Cornwall and features a round capstone with a cupmark on top of a closed chamber. This structure has been likened to a Frenchman's Beret at a rakish angle or an overgrown mushroom

Ceremonial Circle on Bodmin Moor

About: The stone circle at Stannon on Bodmin Moor is located between two streams but away from known settlements. It has been suggested that this particular irregular arrangement of stones to form a circle was probably for ceremonial purposes.
